Super Cereal City

We have been learning what is required to create a happy and properous community, from hospitals, schools and libraries, to playgrounds, parks and childcare buildings.

We built our own city, called Cereal City, with lots of those and more. It's pretty awesome!

Sensational Snapshots

In 2/3OJ, we have been writing snapshots, a form of descriptive writing that captures a moment in time. Here are some of them:

Gary could see smoke steaming out of the tall building after the plane had blasted into its side. He could taste the warm dust and smoke on his tongue and smell the burning flesh in the plane. Smoke and rubble were everywhere.

Brilliant Basketball Cards

We are making a class set of basketball cards, with each student captured taking a shot, dribbling or making a pass. We're trying to collect all 25 cards in the set, with a bonus set of teacher cards coming soon!
